Job Description
The Country Representative Afghanistan have a strong background in sales, logistics, management, and legal matters related to Afghanistan. They will be responsible for establishing our presence in Afghanistan, generating sales, and building and managing a local team.

Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the Product Management department to pinpoint opportunities for product development, encompassing aspects such as localization, feature enhancements, and strategic integrations.
2. Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the Afghanistan market, with a focus on understanding local market conditions, competition, and customer needs.
3. Establish and maintain a strong network of professional relationships with key decision-makers, distributors, and customers in Afghanistan.
4. Manage and oversee all logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of ongoing projects, products and services in coordination with the project management team.
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements in Afghanistan, including Afghanistan regulations, customs procedures, and local business laws.
6. Set and monitor performance targets for the team, driving accountability and results.
7. Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to provide regular updates on market conditions, sales performance, and team development in Afghanistan.
8. Continuously evaluate and refine sales and marketing strategies to maximize business growth and profitability in Afghanistan.
9. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences in Afghanistan, promoting our brand and products to potential clients and partners.
10. Identify, recruit, and develop a high-performing local team, providing ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in sales, logistics, or business development is required, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in the humanitarian and non-profit sector.
Prior experience in a similar role within the context of Afghanistan is highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment in Afghanistan.
Proven track record of successful sales and business development in Afghanistan, including experience in establishing and growing a local team.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel within Afghanistan and internationally as needed.

Languages Requirements:
Pashtu (or Pushtu) or Dari (Afghan Persian) – Primary language.
English – Proficiency level of reading, writing, and conversation.
