Job Description

The Country Representative Sudan have a strong background in sales, logistics, management, and legal matters related to Sudan. They will be responsible for establishing our presence in Sudan, generating sales, and building and managing a local team.

The Country Representative will report directly to the Sales Manager.

Responsibilities  

  1. Collaborate with the Product Management department to pinpoint opportunities for product development, encompassing aspects such as localization, feature enhancements, and strategic integrations.
  2. Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the Sudanese market, with a focus on understanding local market conditions, competition, and customer needs.
  3. Establish and maintain a strong network of professional relationships with key decision-makers, distributors, and customers in Sudan.
  4. Manage and oversee all logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of ongoing projects, products and services in coordination with the project management team.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements in Sudan, including Sudanese regulations, customs procedures, and local business laws.
  6. Set and monitor performance targets for the team, driving accountability and results.
  7. Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to provide regular updates on market conditions, sales performance, and team development in Sudan.
  8. Continuously evaluate and refine sales and marketing strategies to maximize business growth and profitability in Sudan.
  9. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences in Sudan, promoting our brand and products to potential clients and partners.
  10. Identify, recruit, and develop a high-performing local team, providing ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Qualification 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in sales, logistics, or business development is required, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in the humanitarian and non-profit sector.
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the context of Sudan is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment in Sudan.
  • Proven track record of successful sales and business development in Sudan, including experience in establishing and growing a local team.
